An Educational Initiative for Economically Weaker Sections
In the year 1980, with the approval of the Gujarat Government’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment – Welfare Division for Developing Castes – Anant Ashram School (a government-aided residential primary school) was established. This school was specifically founded for underprivileged and economically backward children, especially from the Bakshipanch community, offering education from Grade 1 to 8. The school provides reliable education, pure and nutritious meals, and residential facilities. Through various co-curricular activities, the school also plays an important role in nurturing the hidden potential of children. For the past 44 years, the Ashram School has continuously worked to offer quality education and a dignified life to more than 7,000 children, empowering them to build a bright, capable, and productive future.
